Valentine’s Day is already almost here. And this busy mom isn’t interested in math-ing Valentine boxes that come in sets of 20 for classrooms with 28. So, we make our own. And this year, the kiddos requested Jolly Rancher themed Valentines. And, since I’m a sharer, I’m leaving the Jolly Rancher “Life is Jolly Good with you in it” Valentine free printable here for you, too!
Buy the Jolly Ranchers
I think we actually went to Five Below last year and counted out the exact amount of Jolly Ranchers we needed (plus a couple extra apple ones for mom, because those are the best!). But, if you plan ahead, you can always order a big bag of Jolly Ranchers online, or do curbside pick up at a store close by.
Other Supplies Needed
The Valentines will print 6 to a page making them pretty easy to fit into most DIY Valentine boxes. But, it’s best if you use cardstock or heavier paper, so they don’t fold under the weight of the Jolly Rancher hard candy.
You’ll also need a printer (with ink…if you haven’t signed up for Instant Ink with your HP printer, what are you waiting for?), some tape and something to cut the Valentines apart. We used a paper cutter from my scrapbooking days, but scissors will work, too. We experimented with double sided tape and stickers to hold the candy in place, but decided tape was easier apply and remove without opening the candy.
Also, you’ll need a pen or marker for name signing.
Then, get your little crafter cutting and taping and ready to write their name and your Valentines are all ready to go!
